Agache Continued

Here is the second pass on this painting by Alfred Agache.  Not that I expect anyone to recognize the name.  I only learned of it after seeing one painting of his and I thought I might be able to get reasonably close.  Or would like to get reasonably close to doing something like that.

I originally thought the head scarf was a cool blue/black, but now, after more time I see it as a warm blue/black.  I guess it was the pink/ox blood wall in the background the fooled me.  Anyways the black of the robe was different enough from the scarf it created a slightly lighter blue haze effect above the shoulders.  I was trying to get that down.  I'll keep going once or twice more on this one, but probably will try a second canvas later on.  Maybe even the full painting.
