Today I present another one of those John Singer Sargent charcoal monochromes of Lucy Wortham James, 1922. Lucy’s grandmother was the sister of Robert G. Dun, of Dun and Bradstreet and "inherited a portion of the sizable estate of Robert G. Dun in the form of shares of R.G. Dun & Company. She later became the largest stockholder of the reorganized firm, Dun & Bradstreet, Inc."
