Some Watercolor

I'm not sure how I'll post watercolors, as it's possible to do very little at one time,.  That sort of makes one stage not much different from the next.  So here are two with a few steps in between missing.

From Saturday

Here are some that I worked on today.   The first two are the second pass, while the last is the first pass.

A Deluge of Watercolors

I'll just be posting tons of this stuff in the neck few weeks till I build up a skill set close to that of the drawings.

Some More Drawings

I am currently shifting towards watercolor so I shall be posting less of these crayon drawings.  And when I do,  it won't be refined as much.  But fear not, I'll be posting more and more watercolors.

First Waterolors

I've admired the "mugs", charcoal portraits, that John Singer Sargent did.  But I never attempted one as charcoal has a scratchy blackboard screeching effect on me.  However, as I learned about watercolor and the process of lifting, I saw the similarities of charcoal and watercolor.  Both are easy to erase in certain circumstances.  And watercolor doesn't ever sound like chalk on a blackboard.  So here are my first attempts in watercolor.  It will take a few tries to figure out how the stuff works.

Watercolor Equipment Begins to Arrive

Here is the watercolor tin that I am planning to use.  It's small enough to be very portable and carries the paint I would require.  I plan to use full pans and am in the process of determining which pigments I will use.
