Tonight I present a colorized duotone of a John Singer Sargent charcoal drawing of Margaretta Drexel, Countess of Winchilsea and Nottingham, 1915. Pretty fancy, huh? As I was setting this up, I poorly estimated the height of the head and had to squich the width of the head in a bit. I shouldn't have written anything and I probably would have gotten away with it. The shininess of the hair, I think it came out okay.
